NTU are creating a dynamic and exciting community for both entrepreneurs and small growing businesses that want to collaborate with the university, drawing on their knowledge and expertise.
The new 2,000m2 site will accommodate start-up businesses, spin-outs, and in-movers from across the local region.
Combining high-quality facilities and an extensive business support offer, the Enterprise & Innovation Centre will provide small business growth support in a vibrant city-centre location.
The centre is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The project supports research and innovation, enhancing the competitiveness of SMEs (small and medium businesses) and the shift towards a low carbon economy. The project will specifically support SMEs and entrepreneurs across parts of the Nottingham/Nottinghamshire SUDs (Sustainable Urban Development strategy) area, and those wishing to move their business to the area.
The project will support students, enterprising graduates, established SMEs and entrepreneurs to help them grow sustainable businesses. The building will also offer high quality co-location for regional entrepreneurs and SMEs who are seeking to benefit from a relationship with the University. Members of the centre will gain access to a comprehensive suite of business support programmes. Those at start up stage will benefit from the centre as the new home for NTUs enterprise support.
