D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership will be hosting a technical assistance workshop to support organisations looking to submit an application to support the delivery of the Nottingham City Region Sustainable Urban Development Strategy.
Projects will need to respond to the local development needs set out in the local D2N2 European Structural and Investment Funds strategy and the Nottingham City Region Sustainable Urban Development strategy.
The SUD strategy supports a range of activities to improve productivity across priority sectors and add to the development of Nottingham as a ‘smart city’. A joined up, programmatic approach to bids is welcome, including capital investment to provide space for businesses in local key sectors to start up and grow in energy efficient buildings as part of an urban network of growth and innovation hubs; and revenue funding for integrated support that provides an environment for sustainable business growth.
This open call looks to enhance access to, and use and quality of, Information and Communications Technology; enhance the competitiveness of small and medium sized enterprises; and support the shift towards a low carbon economy and more specifically:
A technical assistance workshop to support applicant organisations will take place on Monday 1st April, 1.15pm – 3.00pm at D2N2 LEP offices, 8 Experian Way, Nottingham, NG2 1EP.
