Futures launch ESF Unlocking Potential programme
Unlocking Potential is a 3 year project, led by Futures, and will support young people who are at risk of NEET (not in education, training or employment).
The service will focus on young people at risk of social exclusion and from marginalised communities providing them with one-to-one support by reducing their risk of dropping out and getting them into next steps of work, further education or training.
The service will be delivered in partnership with Futures, Derbyshire County Council, Derby City schools, with Nottinghamshire County Council and Derby City Council as key stakeholders. Futures is an independent social enterprise, jointly owned by Nottinghamshire County Council and Nottingham City Council and delivers NEET prevention activities on behalf of the two authorities.
