The Department for Work and Pensions has published its annual case study booklet ESF Supporting Local Growth 2019 which showcases a range of projects highlighting the wide range of activities the ESF programme delivers to people across England and what is being achieved, referenced by the LEP areas.
The booklet highlights 35 ESF programmes across the UK, including one from the D2N2 LEP area (Opportunity & Change).
Since March 2015 the current ESF programme has been supporting projects across the country and at the end of August 2019 £2.05bn of EU funding had been allocated to over 400 projects.
