CT Skills host an ESF funded Summer Job Shop, where support is offered to young people aged 16-24 with career planning, preparing for work skills, Information Advice and Guidance (IAG), together with fun activities referred to as ‘enrichment’ to support them with team building skills, confidence and social skills to name but a few.
It was during the Summer Job Shop, when we first met Cory Molloy amongst a group of passionate young adults, all of which optimistic that our Summer Job Shop programme offered a route into their dream career.
Cory had struggled to gain employment and felt the Summer Job shop would be a great way to access his first step into a career. After just 4 short weeks of intensive employability training and expert guidance, Cory graduated the Summer Job Shop programme with a Traineeship placement at Padley Group.
