The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) has published its annual Supporting Local Growth case study booklet 2019. The case study booklet showcases 44 projects and includes 2 ERDF funded programmes in the D2N2 LEP area – Instills and The Big House.
MHCLG has been supporting projects across the country which boost business development and innovation and support local growth. Working closely with a broad range of partners, including Local Enterprise Partnerships, Local Authorities, Universities, other Government departments and the private sector, £1,969 million of ERDF funding has been awarded to 754 projects (as of 31 August 2019) from a total programme worth of £3.3 billion.
All projects featured within the booklet have been part funded through ERDF with contributions ranging from a few hundred thousand pounds to tens of millions – ERDF contributions are often half of the total project value although this can vary. The booklet aims to provide a snapshot of the wide ranging business support activity the programme continues to support.
This project is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020 in England.
